I am one daughter of six girls, no brothers in our family. I was raised in the beautiful state of Michigan and I lived there till I moved to the very hot state of Texas I was in my early 20's when I drove my car across country to settle in the Lone Star State! A mere 10 years later I decided to go back to college and make something of myself! I attended Texas Woman's University located in Denton, Texas earning my bachelors degree in Art Education. It was here that I first noticed my artistic interests and began my artistic identity. Being an artist gives me freedom, when in my studio creating, it takes me away and it reels in at the same time. I dangle somewhere in my imagination and leave the world outside where it belongs...outside my studio door! Art is my way of feeding my soul...
